Every Triangle Has Three Sides...
Pourquoi ces relations triangulaires, si rares ou éphémères dans la réalité, sont-elles incontournables dans la fiction? Peut-être car un couple heureux et stable intéresse peu, voire pas du tout. À l'inverse, la difficulté ou l'impossibilité d'être ensemble ouvre de nombreuses perspectives. L'apport d'un ou de plusieurs obstacles se fait donc indispensable; et quoi de plus simple et efficace qu'une troisième personne? L'équation, une fois posée, brasse une série de stéréotypes physiques et psychologiques...

Prenons l'exemple de Smallville (Saison 6), on a...

Clark/Lana/Lex
Clark/Chloé/Jimmy
Clark/Lois/Oliver

On peut aimer, on peut détester... Que ce soit 2 garcons, 1 fille ou 1 garcon, 2 filles... Pour ma part, le seul triangle qui me gène c'est Clark/Lana/Lex... J'aime assez la relation Clark/Lois/Oliver !!

Ava: My body's been signed off on by plastics, cardio, orthopedics, neuro and OB. And- And also my teeth got the blessing from, wait I can say this, prosthodontics.
Alex: Yeah, but there's still your memory...
Ava: You know how I know my memory is fine ? Because I can say prosthodontics.
Alex: Yeah, but the baby...
Ava: Discharged. By peds.
Alex: Yeah, but...
She closes the door.
